KIPP New Jersey is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator to join our purchasing team. The purchasing coordinator will work with directors of school operations and budget managers to ensure that teachers and other staff can obtain crucial goods and services in an efficient and timely manner, while also ensuring alignment of purchases with the organizational budget, and adherence to public procurement rules. The Purchasing Coordinator will be a critical player in the school operations landscape, helping to ensure that our instructional staff can focus on what matters most: our students, and their journey to and through college.
Meticulous attention to detail
Excellent communication skills, with a customer service orientation
Experience managing various projects simultaneously
Thrives in a deadline driven environment
Ability to learn new systems quickly
Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
Nice to have:
Experience working in a procurement function or with any type of vendor relationship management
Working experience with Coupa or other purchase order tool
Working experience with Zendesk or other support ticket tool
Intermediate level proficiency with Google applications (e.g. Sheets, Docs, Drive)

Support accounting function with maintaining clean, organized purchasing data and documentation
